Horse Bedding

Double L Ranch Horse Bedding

The raw paper product is processed into very small pieces, then a vacuum system extracts the dust and minute particles leaving it virtually dust free.
Research proves that paper is 2 times more absorbent than straw and 4 times more absorbent than wood shavings. The result is reduced ammonia odors which is a severe irritant to the mucous membranes of the eyes and respiratory tract. Paper Shavings provides a superior cushion for comfort. Because it clumps, it is easy to pick-up and the wet bedding can easily be removed, leaving a clean, dry environment. Since paper does not support bacterial growth it can be used for foaling. It is also good for horses allergic to wood or straw, with skin disorders or with respiratory conditions. For disposal, it can be spread on fields and pastures in the manure mixture or also makes excellent compost material.
Paper Shavings are packaged in a weatherproof heat-sealed plastic bag, for convenient storage.  12 cubic feet of loose Paper Shavings is compressed to 3.0 cubic feet, weighing approximately 32 pounds.
