Bambi was purchased for Laura. She is a beautiful Dun Buckskin. Some day Laura hopes to show her at the buckskin shows. Bambi is currently being taught Showmanship and Halter. I’m sure Western and English Equitation will soon follow.

Izzie, has two names due to her double registration. Her Paint Show name is Im So Sacred. Her Pinto Show name is Indigo Girl. Izzie is an awesome Hunter/Jumper. She may also be trained in Dressage. Lisa is extremely excited to get her to some of the Hunter/Jumper shows later this year. Look for Izzie at Pinto, Paint and Hunter/Jumper Shows!

Our first pony! We are so extremely excited to add “Angel” to our horse collection. She will be our first show pony. Lisa is training Angel to be a Hunter Pony. Very soon, a lucky rider will have a beautiful pony to love and show. (If you think Angel reminds you of one of our other horses, you are right! Angel is a sister to Bambi.)

“Joker” is know for running barrels. He was born to run, with racing blood from both Mom and Dad. He was pushed almost to the point of ruin. Joker came to our ranch a a barrel prospect, but it didn’t take long for us to figure out that he hated it. We turned Joker out to pasture for year, we brought his weight back up to normal, had his feet trimmed on a regular basis, and finally introduced him to positive training. Consistent training, mixed with positive reinforcement, and the outcome is superb. Joker enjoys having people ride him. Lisa is working with Joker, he has become our next Jumper prospect. We are very proud to have Joker at the Double L Ranch and can’t wait to begin his show career.
